Next wednesday the youth and I start the first lesson in the “Passion of James” bible study. There are 8 lessons in the study so it should take us about 2 months to get through it. I am starting to prepare for the first lesson and I am really excited about this bible study in general. The book of James just happens to be my favorite book of the bible and I know GOD is really going to move. In case your interested in following along, the study will go as follows:

Lesson 1: Facing Trials and Temptations (James 1:1-18)

Lesson 2: Hear Quickly, Speak and Be Angry Slowly (James 1:19-27)

Lesson 3: Favortism is Unacceptable (James 2:1-13)

Lesson 4: Understanding Faith and Deeds (James 2:14-26)

Lesson 5: Taming the Tongue (James 3:1-12)

Lesson 6: Wisdom and Submission (James 3:13-4:12)

Lesson 7: Boasting is Evil, Riches will Rot (James 4:13-5:6)

Lesson 8: Be Patient, Be Prayerful (James 5:7-20)
